Where to apply

3-In-1 Weed & Feed can be used on all four major Southern turf types, Bermudagrass, St. Augustinegrass, Centipedegrass and Zoysiagrass.

Do not apply to: Bahiagrass, Bentgrass, Ormond variety of Bermudagrass, Buffalograss, Carpetgrass, Dichondra, Fescue, Kikuyugrass, Ryegrass and Seashore Paspalum lawns.

When to apply

In spring, mow 2 times before applying.

  • Only apply to actively-growing turf that has emerged from dormancy.
  • Apply when temperatures are between 50°F – 90°F
  • Apply when weeds are small and actively growing
  • Do not apply while grass is emerging from dormancy
  • To prevent Crabgrass and Goosegrass, apply before temperatures regularly reach 80oF

Make a second application in the fall.

  • To prevent Annual Bluegrass (Poa Annua), apply August-December
  • For optimal Dollarweed control, apply in mid-fall
  • Make sure to apply while temperatures are still above 50oF and lawns are actively growing
  • Apply no closer than 6 weeks before the first historical frost date for your area
  • Do not apply to Centipedegrass after October 1st

How to apply

Use a rotary or drop-type spreader. Settings and application instructions are provided on the label.
Do not apply to:

  • Recently aerated or verticutted turf
  • Water-saturated soils
  • Lawns under stress from drought, disease or prone to injury

Do not rake: Heavy raking will disturb the weed preventative barrier and reduce the effectiveness of this product.
