This product can be applied as a preventative action (pre-flood treatment) before sites fill with water. This product may also be used in sites that intermittently fill with water.
This product will control mosquito larvae for up to 60 days when immersed in water. Reapply after 60 days as needed.
Bird baths, ornamental fish ponds, garden ponds, containerized water gardens, ornamental fountains, ornamental pools or ponds, flower pots or planters, rain barrels, urns, tree holes, pool covers, unused or abandoned swimming pools, roof gutters, root top catchments, storage tanks, drums, buckets, wheelbarrows, garbage cans, other water-holding receptacles, floor drains, old tires, rock holes, pot holes, tire tracks and other natural and man-made depressions.
Outdoor trees and shrubs. Do not apply to plants grown for food.
Single Trunk Trees: 1/2 ounce per inch of distance around trunk.
Multi-Trunk Trees: Measure the distance in inches around each tree trunk at chest height and add together. Multiply this total by 0.375 to get the required number of ounces of this product to apply.
Outdoor trees, shrubs and containerized plants. Do not apply to plants grown for food.
Shrubs: 3/4 cup for every 1 foot of height.
Single Trunk: 1/4 cup of product for every 1 inch around tree trunk.
Multiple Trunk: Measure distance in inches around each tree trunk, add together, and multiply by 0.75. This measurement times 1/4 cup is the amount of product to apply around tree trunk.
Container Trees: 2 teaspoons of product per 1 gallon container.
Outdoor ornamentals trees and shrubs and containerized plants. This product is only for non-bearing fruit and nut trees. Non-bearing fruits and nuts are plants that do not bear edible fruits and nuts for at least 12 months after application of pesticides.
Shrubs: 3 ounces for every 1 foot of height.
Single Trunk: 1 ounce of product mixed with 1 gallon of water for every 1 inch around tree trunk.
Multiple Trunks: Measure distance in inches around each tree trunk, add together, and multiply by 0.75. This measurement is the number of ounces of product to add to one gallon of water.
Containerized Plants: 1+2/3 tablespoons of product into sufficient water to wet the potting soil thoroughly.
Apply when listed pests are seen or found. Reapply every 7 to 10 days until infestation is eliminated. Do not exceed 0.4 lbs imidacloprid per acre per year. This can contains 0.00024 lbs of imidacloprid.
For use in outdoor residential gardens. Not for use on lawns.
For flowers, feed at time of planting and then repeat every 4 months during the growing season.
For roses, initial feeding in the spring prior to bud break, just after bud break or at time of planting.
For roses, second feeding, 4 months after the initial feeding. Cease feeding 2 months before the first expected frost to allow canes to harden-off and prepare for winter.
New roses, established roses, container roses and flowers.
New Roses: sprinkle 1/2 cup fertilizer on the soil surface around the base of the rose bush.
Established Roses: sprinkle evenly 1/2 cup fertilizer on the soil surface around the base of the rose bush.
Container Roses: Sprinkle evenly recommended amount of fertilizer around the base of the rose bush. (1 gallon container= 1 teaspoon. 3 gallon container= 1 tablespoon. 5 gallon container= 2 tablespoons, 1/8 cup).
Flowers: sprinkle 3/4 cup fertilizer evenly over a 5 foot x 5 foot area. May be worked into top 1/4-inch of soil if desired
