This product can be applied as a preventative action (pre-flood treatment) before sites fill with water. This product may also be used in sites that intermittently fill with water.
This product will control mosquito larvae for up to 60 days when immersed in water. Reapply after 60 days as needed.

Use in artificial containers and natural standing-water sites around your home to control the mosquito larvae of breeding mosquitoes.

For shallow standing water holding areas (less than 8 inches deep), place one tablet in the surface area of the standing water.

Mosquito Killer Fizz tabs are a larvicide that kills mosquito larvae in water for up to 60 days. Mosquitoes carry and transmit several deadly viruses which pose a serious threat to humans, such as West Nile, Dengue, and Zika. Mosquitoes also transmit heart worms to dogs and cats.
Mosquito Killer Fizz tabs dissolve in standing water to kill mosquito larvae on contact. Each patented, bi-layer tablet provides a quick release of the active ingredient (Spinosad) to kill mosquitoes in standing water containers. The 1st layer is the one that "fizzes" and is quickly released, giving the initial level of control. The second layer dissolves much more slowly and gives the longer residual. It is the fast release layer that gives upfront "punch" to begin the control and it is the second layer that keeps the concentration high enough to be biologically effective for 60 days.
You can use Mosquito Killer Fizz Tabs in any contained water site (natural or artificial) where mosquitoes could breed. Bird Baths, Garden Ponds, Roof Top Catchments, Storage Tanks, Rock Holes – any place that standing water might occur. You can use the Fizz Tabs in areas that contain fish and plants.
Mosquito Killer Fizz tabs can be applied preventatively in any of the above mentioned areas prior to being filled with water or curatively once water fills those areas.
One tablet will treat 50 gallons of standing water for up to 60 days.
Yes – do not apply Mosquito Killer Fizz Tabs to natural or artificial containers of water intended for consumption by people, animals, or livestock.
